Howard Zolty earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering from Purdue University.

Mr. Zolty has a California Emergency Teaching Credential and can teach kindergarten through twelfth grade classes when necessary.

Mr. Zolty has been volunteering in schools for over 15 years. He has assisted teachers and principals with instructional technology, direct student instruction, and school safety planning. He also served on the board of the Mountain View Library Foundation, REACT, and local community organizations.

Mr. Zolty is the founder of High Achievement Educational Services, an organization focused on innovative educational technology solutions for both in-school learning and at-home learning. He is also the director of technology and educational services for the Reading Friends Children’s Library and has been creating cost-effective technology solutions to enhance literacy services and supplemental services for library programs.

Mr. Zolty has over 25 years of technology, business, and project management experience. He has worked on a wide range of projects for industry, education, and government organizations. He started his career as an engineer at the IBM Corporation, designing advanced technology for new products as well as helping to create the high-capacity production systems needed to manufacture those products.

As a lead systems engineer Mr. Zolty successfully implemented projects for organizations such as Intel, AMD, Apple, SLAC, LSI, Varian and many others.

After IBM, he founded Zolty Technical Services where he worked on large scale computing and data network projects for a wide range of high-technology companies. He also became interested in online information technology and designed systems for Dialog Information Services, Knight Ridder Information, ICL Systems, Fujitsu Services, Thomson Legal and Regulatory and Thomson Scientific.
