We prefer calling “methods of management” methods for working together. (Who wants to be managed?)

Why do educators need to learn about methods for working together?

The idea is to enable everyone, from top to bottom, to be proficient in working on the system, not just in the system.

Even students — yes, students — will be working on the system.

The school district becomes orders of magnitude more organizationally intelligent as everyone becomes involved in:

• not just doing the work (educating, teaching, learning, assessing),
• but also planning the work,
• and capably improving processes — the steps one takes to accomplish something.

Courses include, but are not limited to:

• Drucker’s Management by Objectives (and why it does not work)
• Deming’s (elegant & beautiful) quality method of management
• Modern methods of knowledge-work management

• Neuroscience: parts of the brain
• How mind and brain interact and change each other
• Positive Psychology
• Parts of psychosynthesis, especially regarding volition (will)
• A gamut of inner educational exercises for building the foundations of self-direction and wellness
• The science of learning motivation
• Combining literature, history and science with educating
