Choosing an implementation
The choice can only be allowed from the top
Only the superintendent, backed by the school board, can grant the autonomy that volunteer principals and educators need to begin.
Voluntary, no compulsion
That's right — no one is forced to use the Lead Out Method.
Implementation must be led by early adopters.
(Schoolio's founder doesn't count himself among the early adopters — he waited until others had tried smartphones before following along!)
Once those first adopters share the enthusiasm that comes from real experience, others will choose to follow.
Mid-year or summer head start?
Ideally, adoption begins with summer seminars, so the school year opens with the new processes already in place.
That isn't always possible — hence a mid-year plan, which still calls for seminars to get the theory.
Skipping the theory dooms implementation. If you don't know why a process is used, you'll misapply it.
Year-round coaching and support
Whether you begin mid-year or with a summer head start, Schoolio provides coaches in the classroom, on in-service training days, and at optional weekend seminars too.
